WELCOME TO
"STORYBOOK GATHERINGS" ™
This is where I take you on a special adventure into the world of your imagination, complete with a storybook ending! You will spend the entire photo session with me and your personally selected, themed event. This can be a story about you, a couple, your infant(s), kid(s), teen(s,) a group of adults, or a small event, (or maybe even a large one)! Anything is possible.
We will capture all the intimate moments, the shared moments, thoughts, dreams, and put together a storyline to make it all into your personalized book of memories according to the special theme you've picked out.
So let your imagination run wild! Maybe it's a special day like a birthday or an anniversary. Maybe it's a bar mitzvah or a baby christening. Maybe you just want to hang out with your best friends or family. You could even do an engagement book! You choose any type of event you want from my stock packages or invent your own! That's one of the most exciting parts of it. One of my personal favorites is the ABC book for small children.
The Service
This is another exciting service MIP studio offers. With the advent and popularity of coffee table-styled wedding albums in the past decade, I am now proud to present my very own Storybook Gatherings ™ book parties and wedding albums. These books soon become treasured heirlooms over the years to be cherished by all who participate in them.
The Meeting
Initially, you and I meet in order to create a theme for a party or special gathering from a collection of ideas I have compiled and designed especially for this service. You can also invent your own and incorporate it into your story. I go over the last minute details before the event, of preset package prices and what size book you can choose from and the bindings.
The Event Planning
Next, the event is planned out carefully by me and structured around a party atmosphere or can be made as intimate as an infant’s trip home with mommy from the hospital or a couple on their first date. Finally, when we book the event you pick your package price plus the style and size of the book.
Party Time
On the day of the event, I float the whole time photographing you and your guests. In the finished storybook, each page includes all sorts of great pictorials within the book to make it into an “actual story”, sometimes including a “story within a story” on each page! There will be group shots, individual poses, and an appropriate story line from beginning to end. The pictures can have either a photojournalism styled or portrait styled feel to them as well or why not try both? Each page comes with a theme to mirror the event as well.
Fire Up The Presses
Finally, when it is all done, you (and possibly your fellow event goers get to) pick the photos you like best from my site for each page from a collection and I do the rest! Once you’ve chosen the shots you like best, I insert them into the book and it is published. I give each client the hands on ability to write their own story! Pretty neat, huh?
